Exterior wall Insulation (EWI) is insulating, for decorative and protective finish system exterior walls that can be installed on any type of construction. It is the only exterior wall covering that insulates and provides weather protection in a selection of shapes, colours, and textures that can replicate almost any architectural style or finish material, or stand by itself as an architectural finish.

STEEL OR WOOD FRAMING EWI may be attached by mechanical fasteners

CONCRETE AND MASONRY EWI attached using adhesive. Mechanical fasteners may also be used.
Before installation, the substrate should be free of foreign materials and clean. We also need to have access to power and water for the installations.

While giving the appearance of base coat, External Wall Insulation is actually a multi-layered wall system that consists of the following components:
Insulation Board – Made of polystyrene (or similar material), which is secured to the exterior wall surface.

First step

Base Coat – Applied on top of the insulation and reinforced with fiber mesh

Second step

Priming- Painting primer on base coat, colour must be such as finish coat or similar

The third step

Finish Coat – Applied on top of the base coat giving a durable, crack-resistant finish

Coloured Rendering Service

We offer monocouche (coloured) rendering services in Essex and around London area.
Coloured render is also called monocouche, but most people know as K-rend

Monocouche renders are one coat through the coloured external finish which offers a weather resistant, low maintenance and highly durable finish. For all exterior rendering jobs, we will require: skip, water and power. We will need to use scaffoldings if the property is higher than one story.

Work process starts from inspection of building condition. Is important to pay attention not only to the walls condition but also to the windows, soffits, gutters and drain pipes. If necessary, we sort everything out before the rendering process. We then wash the walls using pressure wash, mask and cover all openings and pipes. If we working on any paving areas, these areas are covered.

Once the process is finished, all work area and surrounding areas are cleaned.
